Dave "Scooter" Honig, LL Cool J's trainer and coauthor of "LL Cool J's Platinum Workout," shared these fitness tips with Martha:

1. Always take the stairs.

2. Contract your abdominal muscles for 20-second periods when sitting down.

3. Have your biggest meal in the morning.

4. Eat for nutritional value.

5. Do not skip a meal; if you do, your metabolism slows down.
