Valentine's Day is the time of year we express our feelings to those we love. One of the best ways to do this is through the beauty of flowers.
When choosing flowers for your arrangement, begin by finding one flower that you know the recipient will like, and then build from that. You can always look for beautiful flowers in your own backyard, and then fill in with some blooms from your local farmers' market, grocery, or floral shop.
On today's show, Martha used carnations and lady slipper orchids. In-house crafter and stylist Aaron Caramanis used sweet peas, amnesia roses, hyacinths, and ruskas.
To care for your Valentine's Day arrangement, use a couple drops of bleach to cut down on bacteria build up. And always make sure your water levels are high and your thermostat is on low.
