    Secure pumpkins together with skewers.

  2. Step 2 of 3

For eyes, push toothpicks through the tips of two pumpkin seeds, insert in pumpkin, and fan out slightly; repeat several times. A pearberry completes each.

I used a hammer and a awl to make holes before sticking in the BBQ sticks to secure the pumpkins. Used (three) pumpkin seeds on each eye to look like eyelashes and secured them will long quilting pins. I colored two large pumpkin seeds with a brown marker and stuck them up-right on toothpicks to make the ears.

I tucked "her" into a hollowed nook in my old giant tree! ADORABLE - and many nice comments from neighbors!
