Introduction
A great way to recycle plastic berry baskets is to transform them into festive containers for eggs and other Easter treats. Look for the baskets in a variety of bright colors at supermarkets.
Materials
- Plastic berry baskets
- Pipe cleaners
- Narrow ribbon
- Hot-glue gun
- White craft glue
Steps

Step 1 of 3
Join two pipe cleaners together end to end to make a handle (below).

Hot-glue a bow at the top to conceal the pipe cleaners' twist point.

Thread narrow ribbon through the slats, using white craft glue to secure the ends. Fill the bottom of the basket with Easter grass, then add candy eggs and bunnies, jelly beans, cookies, and a small stuffed animal.

Maybe farmers' markets? I haven't seen many recently either.
This is great but where can you get berry baskets any more, sure would like to know.
