Mini Shopping Bags

Fancy little totes filled with small presents -- gift cards, cash, jewelry, and other trinkets -- might make Scrooge himself smile. Wrap the gift in tissue paper before tucking it inside, and don't forget to add a tiny tag.

Holly clip art

Mini Shopping Bags How-To
Enlarge or reduce clip art to desired size on a photocopier. Make folds by aligning a ruler on pairs of lines and scoring with a bone folder. Cut out along solid exterior lines; cut slits along remaining solid lines. Bend bag into shape, creasing folds where indicated by dotted lines. At bottom, tuck side flaps under larger ones; secure with double-sided tape. Tuck side tab inside; tape. Use craft glue to attach handles made of waxed twine.

I ran across the site gift-si-destroy bit.ly/v9y2Ze , I found that people received that horrible gifts all the time, I thought it was just me!. I always question that 'why you gave me that'.Recently, my boyfriend gave me a stylish laptop bag which is the best gift he ever give me (compared to the baseball cap). He told me he uses the service from'Gift Side Story', the wingman site that helping guys pick the 'Right' gift for the important women in his life. Check this out http://bit.ly/rQgp5c

    (continued from previous comment)
    3. Only the dotted lines for the lengthwise fold and 1 of the 9 vertical folds make sense. Instead, ignore the 9 vertical dotted lines and do only 4 vertical folds: 3 that line up with the 3 slits and then 1 for the tab. Voila!

    1. Instructions refer to "pairs of lines"...what paired lines? The next step is to cut on lines...so why score? Its the dotted lines (also not paired) that need folding, but see below.
    2. To "cut along solid exterior lines", cuts off all dotted lines. Fold first!
    3. Only dotted lines for the lengthwise fold

These are awesome! Super easy and useful. Thanks marthastewart.com!
Can you make some print on landscape next time so they can be a bit bigger? That would be awesome.
    Keep up the great work!

@null: The problem may be with your monitor or browser settings. The .pdf''s are showing the solid and dotted lines just fine as well as the snowflake template. I had the same problem and it was my settings.
