According to the Hobby Industry Association, creating scrapbooks is the fastest growing hobby in the country. Scrapbooks are by nature personal and idiosyncratic, but it always helps to have a selection of basic tools around. Some tools you'll probably find indispensable include a cutting mat; adjustable hole punch; small hammer created especially for scrapbooking; an eyelet setter; paper piercer to bore particularly small holes; paper needles; round-end pliers; wire cutters; tweezers; masking tape; glue dots; a glue eraser; and a bone folder. Look for these tools at your local craft store.
