In lieu of a more classic wedding cake, white cupcakes -- topped with swirls of sugary buttercream icing -- gain a sense of stature when placed on a tiered stand. Frilly lace-doily trim decorates edges. The cupcakes are crowned with fondant hearts imprinted with the first initial of the bride or the groom using a rubber stamp and shaped with a cookie cutter.
is it possible to stamp the initial with color? i have someone that wants the monogram on a round medallion but stamp an initial with a color
You can purchase stands similar to this one at Sugarcraft. It is an online store with a lot of cupcake products. Bross Manufacutring has very nice ones, but they are very expensive. Also, Wilton has one stand that is tall with scalloped edges that might work.
We decided to do cupcakes for our Sept Wedding long ago, I love the idea of the perfect serving size. Colors are deep purple and lavender with a Ocean/Pirate theme. Can you send me directions on how to make a square layered stand if possible? Or if anybody has something helpful, we will have about 125 cupcakes to display. Thank You so much! :)
