Turn fall foliage into a stunning seasonal arrangement with these simple tips from Jerry Fritz of Linden Hills Gardens and Jerry Fritz Garden Design.
- Cut arrangement materials from your lawn early in the morning, when the sugars are flowing and there is more moisture in the stems.
- Using sharp pruners, cut plant stems on an angle to increase the amount of surface area there is for water uptake.
- Place cut items in partial sun; the final arrangement can live in sun or shade.
- Freshen the water in your arrangement every few days.
