Strike a sweet note with oatmeal cookies packaged in CD envelopes and sealed with festive tags as a tasteful take-home treat.
We've come up with custom labels for a variety of celebrations: New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Halloween, graduations, birthdays, and more. Use the tags to embellish packages and boxes, too.
Cookie Gift How-To
You will need adhesive paper, CD envelopes (both available at office-supply stores), scissors, and cookies.
Download and print our clip art. Cut out. Fold the tags in half and adhere to envelopes.

It would be good to know what kind of adhesive used worked the best to keep the labels on the envelopes. The envelopes are paper so any glue tha sticks to paper? What weight paper worked best?
Thanks for the feed back in advance
WHAT A FABULOUS IDEA!!!!! THANKS...AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!
I wrote you about the CD envelopes. The cookies have to first be wrapped in plastic wrap or they will leave oil marks on the CDs. I ran off a little label about our church picnic and attached it to the clear circle. It was very small.
Sorry, please ignore both (repeated) comments below.
What is the best thing to use to adhere the labels, so that they don't awkwardly rip the package?

Great idea. I would never have thought of this.
I am trying to figure out how user "bjhancher" deleted the pictures on the template and added her own what card program does this?
cool...
this is such a great idea!
I used a card program I had and used the Christmas graphics. I deleted the pictures on the template and added the holiday pictures. I added my own greetings for a Happy Holiday. I handed them out to co-workers. Everyone wanted to know where I purchased the cookie envelopes. They were a great hit. Used it two years in a row, now everyone waits for the Holiday cookie.
I would love to get Christmas labels as well ... do you find any?

How about a Christmas label?????
These would be a nice way to welcome new neighbors or send in a care package to college students, service personnel, or young adults working away from home. It would also be a nice send-off for neighbors who are moving or others of the above.
Adobe writer is free - just go to adobe.com and download it. Also, you could make your labels in any graphics program like Print Artist, Print Shop, etx.
How were you able to manipulate the label? I'd like a sheet of just Valentine labels, and just birthday. I don't have Adobe writer access.
I manipulated the label to celebrate the birth of our son and then handed these out to the nurses, doctors and staff during my stay at the hospital. It was a hit!
