Chilling Glasses

Everyday Food, Volume 33 June 2006

Whether you're serving an ice-cold glass of lemonade, a frothy milk shake, or your favorite cocktail, a chilled glass keeps your drink cool.

Place glasses in the freezer or refrigerator for several hours; remove just before filling. If you're short on time, place glasses in a bucket or large pot, pour ice around them, and let sit 15 minutes before serving the drinks. Or, just before you are ready to use them, fill the glasses with ice and swirl around; remove ice and pour beverage.
