8 No-Sew Costumes

Halloween 2000, Volume 2000 Special Issue 2000

With supplies from the craft store, supermarket, thrift shop, and your closet, you can create fantastic disguises without a stitch.

We suggest you use a glue gun with many of these costumes because hot glue sets quickly and tends to be less messy and more precise than regular craft glue. Don't let young children use the glue gun.

Tip: Keep a cup of cold water next to your work area, and dip your fingers into the water before using fingers to hold the glued item 10 to 15 seconds to set.
