Southern Comfort could be replaced with peach nectar, I think, since it is a peach-flavored liquer. I would start by adding 1 cup, taste, and then adding 1/2 cups until you felt there was a good balance of flavors. Of course, you could just omit that ingredient altogether--the punch would still be tasty.
Followed recipe to the letter (made ice ring in a Bundt cake pan, 1/2 full, even) and it turned out terrific! Everyone loved it! If I was to make again for Christmas, I would freeze mint into Bundt cake ice mold (so that it looked like a wreath), and freeze some cranberries along with lemon
Can you replace the Southern Comfort with something non-alcoholic, like club soda or ginger ale?
We take the concentrate (about 2 cups of solid concentrated juice, with added sugar) and add water to this to dilute. For example, if we purchase frozen orange juice concentrate in a can, we'll add three cans of water to the concentrate to make juice to drink.
I need your help!! Im from australia, and i dont know what frozen lemonade concentrates is, we dont have such a thing what else could i use, i was thinking of frezzing lemonade and adding fresh lemon juice to make it more lemony...help!!
This punch recipe rules. Ridiculously tasty. That being said, it's best not to let your guests see you make the second. The amount of Southern comfort freaks them out. :-}
I highly recommend this punch recipe. I made it for our neighborhood Bunco night, and it disappeared VERY quickly. You might want to have ingredients for a second or third batch on hand!
I would place the lemon-lime soda in the refrigerator to chill it. You can also put the Southern Comfort in the freezer. The alcohol will keep it from freezing. This will keep the punch cold longer.
