Sauteed Cabbage

  • Yield: Serves 4


  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 small head cabbage, coarsely chopped
  • 2 caraway seeds
  • Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper


  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add cabbage and caraway seeds. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally until soft, 7 to 10 minutes. Taste and adjust for seasoning. Serve immediately.
