This simple pesto recipe is from the October 2008 issue of Body+Soul.
- Yield: Makes 3 heaping tablespoons

- 1 cup packed fresh basil
- 1 clove garlic
- Pinch of coarse salt
- 2 tablespoons pine nuts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Place basil, garlic, salt, and pine nuts in the bowl of a food processor. With the machine running, gradually add oil; process until smooth.
