  • Yield: Makes enough for 1 nine-inch cake
Blueberry Crumb Topping


  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature


  1. In a medium bowl, combine cinnamon, salt, sugar, and flour. Cut in the butter using your hands, two knives, or a pastry blender until well combined and crumbly.

    It's in the oven at the moment. I live in high altitude so I had to add extra moisture. The pan needs to be a rectangular pan for sure. I'm going to make muffins next time.

    a very easy to make and yummy cake.i didnt use all of the topping though as I wanted to reduce calories.still very good and I think I'll also give it a try with some other berry types next time!!
