Hybrid magnolia: Magnolia x Elizabeth

Hybrid magnolia: Magno

Fast-growing 'Elizabeth' was the first yellow-flowering magnolia hybrid introduced in the 1950s, at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens in New York City. The light primrose-yellow blossoms appear before leaves unfurl and continue as they expand, giving an extended show. Yellow hybrids were bred by the crossing of a native American species and a white Asian species The foliage matures from light yellow-green to medium green.
