Just in time for holiday season, Kodak made gift shopping for your photography-loving significant other seem like a walk... to the nearest Kodak store. Introducing the Ektra phone — the company's first "professional-quality, photography-first smartphone."
First of all, let's just say that even though the Ektra comes in a sleek body, it has a really cool vintage vibe to it due to its textured finish that will probably give some people major nostalgia (they don't make them like this anymore). But this is pretty much where the old ends and the new (high tech) begins.
The phone features a 5-inch HD screen and a whopping 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Just to compare your iPhone's camera has 8 megapixels so you can expect your photos to be a lot sharper. You are also able to choose among an extensive scene mode selection and capture 4K video. The Ektra comes with a 32-gigs built-in memory but you can expand it with an SD card.

But that's not all. As Kodak puts it "When it comes to creativity, pressing a button is just the beginning." The phone has various filters, vignettes, and everything else that you need for a perfect Instagram post. The only bad news is that you will have to find someone to deliver it for you from Europe, because as of today, the phone is only available across the Atlantic. If you ask us though, it's worth it.
