3-D Hearts Card

"Two hearts -- yours and mine -- are forever entwined." It's a sweet sentiment and the inspiration for this easy-to-make pop-up card. Use double-sided cardstock to really make the paper-punched design pop.

steps

  1. Start with a piece of double-sided cardstock, approx. 8"x8" (no smaller than a 6"x6"). With at least a 1" buffer from the top and left edges, punch a design. Using the foiled guides, continue moving the cardstock to the right to create a row of three designs.

  2. Continue with two more rows of the designs, each row spaced ½" apart.

  3. Trim the cardstock down to 4"x6" with approx. ½" from the top and bottom edges, and 3/8" from the left edge.

  4. Using the glue pen, glue the punched cardstock on top of another piece of cardstock of the same size, but different color (do not glue the pieces to be folded over). Fold and tuck the outer arch of the heart designs to reveal the color underneath.

  5. Glue the punched piece to a blank card 4.5" x 6.5", centered.
