Hydrangea Drink Stirrers

Add a touch of floral whimsy to your cocktails, iced teas, and other drinks with these DIY drink stirrers.

  1. Cut a strip of green tissue paper, approximately 3" x 8". Using fringe scissors, fringe about 1/2" of one edge.

  2. Trim the non-fringed edge to give you about 3/4" from the fringe.

  3. Apply dots of glue with the glue pen along the bottom straight edge of the tissue.

  4. You can start with double stick at 2" down from the top of the skewer. With the fringed side pointing to the top of the skewer, start wrapping the tissue tightly around the skewer at the 2" mark.

  5. Using the hydrangea punch, punch a few hydrangeas from cardstock.

  6. Punch a hole in the center of each hydrangea using the screw punch.

  7. Take two of the hydrangeas and place them on the skewer so that the fringe gathers around them.
