Toasted Coconut Flakes
Easy and delicious, that's these coconut flakes toasted with honey and five-spice powder.

- Vegetable oil, for brushing
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3/4 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 2 cups unsweetened coconut flakes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment; brush parchment with oil. Stir together honey, five-spice powder, and 2 teaspoons water. Add coconut; gently toss to evenly coat. Spread in a single layer on prepared baking sheet and bake, stirring halfway through, until golden and dry, 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool completely. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week.
