Smoky Spanish Breadcrumbs
Flavored with paprika and thyme, these breadcrumbs can be used to add a spicy topping to mac and cheese.

- 3 cups fresh breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. On a rimmed baking sheet, toss breadcrumbs with olive oil, paprika, and thyme. Season with salt and pepper. Bake in an even layer until breadcrumbs are toasted and crisp, about 18 minutes, tossing halfway through.
