Sparkling Fresh Lemonade

Fresh homemade lemonade gets bubbly (but remains alcohol-free) thanks to a bit of sparkling water.

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups fresh lemon juice (about 10 lemons)
  • 3 cups cold sparkling water
  • 4 1/2 cups ice


  1. Bring 1 cup water and the sugar to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Let cool completely; refrigerate until ready to use.

  2. Put syrup, lemon juice, and sparkling water in a pitcher. Stir in the ice.
