Lime-Chile Dressing

Use this recipe when making our Spicy Chicken Salad In Lettuce Cups.

  • 5 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons Asian fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice-wine vinegar (not seasoned)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 fresh hot red chiles, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped


  1. Stir together lime juice, fish sauce, vinegar, sugar, chiles, garlic, and shallots. Let stand at least 15 minutes. Stir in cilantro.
