Snap Peas with Dill Butter

This quintessential spring vegetable gets a touch of butter and herbs for a side dish that goes with any main.

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pound trimmed sugar snap peas (strings removed, if necessary)
  • Coarse salt and ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh dill


  1. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium-low heat. Add sugar snap peas, and season with salt and pepper. Cook, tossing frequently, until bright green and crisp-tender, 6 to 8 minutes; stir in dill.
