Papaya Lassi

The ground cardamom in this refreshing papaya lassi brings out the flavor of the ripe fruit.

  • 2 cups chopped papaya (from 1 small peeled, seeded papaya)
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 cup plain whole-milk yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar, or to taste
  • Pinch of ground cardamom
  • Pinch of coarse salt


  1. Combine papaya, ice, yogurt, sugar, cardamom, and salt in a blender; blend until smooth, 1 minute. Serve immediately.
