Pears with Pecorino and Honey

These pear slices share a plate with pecorino, a sheep's-milk cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound pecorino (sheep's-milk) cheese
  • 4 Comice pears, cored and sliced
  • Honey, for drizzling
  • Freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. Slice cheese thinly and divide among 4 plates. Place pears on top of cheese. Warm honey and drizzle over pears and cheese. Grind pepper over each plate, and serve.
