Warm Chocolate Sauce

  • Yield: Makes about 1 cup

  • 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 3/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon heavy cream


  1. Place chocolate in a small bowl. In a small saucepan, scald the cream. Pour over chocolate and let stand 5 minutes. Stir until smooth. Set over a pan of warm water until ready to use.
