Sugared Bay Leaves

Use this recipe to garnish our Honey Syllabub.

  • Yield: Makes 6

Ingredients

  • 6 fresh bay leaves
  • 1 egg white
  • Fine sanding sugar

Directions

  1. Brush 1 side of a bay leaf with egg white. Holding leaf over a bowl, gently pour sugar over leaf. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment. Repeat with remaining leaves. Let dry, about 1 hour.
