  • Cordless drill with 1/8-inch drill bit
(We recommend the RYOBI ONE+ 18-Volt lithium-ion compact drill/driver kit.)

  • Twine

  • Scissors

  • 24-gauge wire

  • Washers

  • Needle-nose pliers

  1. Choose which ornaments you wish to use and place them in the desired order. Pull the caps off the top and using the drill bit, drill a hole in the bottom of each ornament.

  2. Cut a long piece of twine, approximately 10 feet in length. Tie a washer to the end of twine to prevent your ornaments from falling off.

  3. Using a 24-gauge wire, make a long “needle” with a small loop at the end. Thread the twine through it and knot.

  4. Poke the needle through the small drilled hole in the bottom of the ornament and feed the twine through the top hole. Pull twine through.

  5. After you’ve threaded the twine through each ornament, leave an inch of slack, and then tie another washer at the end.

  6. Hang on nails or hooks across a doorway or mantelpiece for a beautiful holiday accent!
