On Friday evening, special guests were invited to celebrate the kickoff of the 2015 Martha Stewart American Made Summit at the One World Observatory in downtown New York City.
This year, we awarded 10 honorees with a trip to New York City to attend the Martha Stewart American Made Summit and a $10,000 cash prize to help their businesses grow. Martha gave opening remarks and introduced this year's honorees to the cocktail party attendees at the One World Observatory -- a stunning space with panoramic views of New York City from 1,250 feet up! Richard Porteus, General Hospitality Manager at Legends, the company which operates the event space, gave us a private tour, and we were sold -- we knew this was the perfect venue for our special event.

A Spread to Honor the Occasion
Even the appetizers were lovingly made to honor the 2015 American Made Awards. Here, you see a spread by Murray's Cheese. Other food vendors we want to thank for making this occasion so memorable are PS Tailored Events, Watch Hill Oysters, Grand Central Oyster Bar, Charles Smith Wines, The Meat Market, and Fire Roasted Catering.

It's not a Martha Stewart cocktail party without oysters! Here I am with Jeff Gardner, owner of Watch Hill Oysters from Winnapaug Pond in Rhode Island.
