Simple Syrup for Iced Tea

This is a quick, easy way to add sweetness to cold beverages.

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water


  1. Bring sugar and water to a boil in a small pan. Reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Let cool.

Simple syrup keeps refrigerated for up to 1 month.
