How to Create the Perfect Gift Box for the Foodie in Your Life

Creating a food gift box for someone is a very special way to give a gift. It's a present that's personally curated for the recipient, and every item is handpicked by you! A lot of thought goes into a gift box, and I think when presented right, it shows. Below I share a few tips that will help you create a personal and charming food gift box!

The first step: Pick a theme! Choosing a theme is a great way to make your gift box cohesive. If the gift recipient likes lemon, then go with a lemon box (like we did!), or maybe they love wine, chocolate, or even olive oil. There are endless theme to choose from! Then, when picking items for the box, always add in something savory, something sweet, a drink, something fresh, and local or picked from home. We picked lemons from our tree, but you can make a jam or your specialty.

Once you have all of the products, I like to nestle them in a wooden box with festive filler and a small arrangement of flowers. You can pick flowers from your yard if you have a garden, or make a simple arrangment with store-bought flowers. This simple addition adds a lot of charm to the box!

It's crucial to neatly organize all of the products in your wooden gift box!

I feel that flowers add just the right touch, but feel free to throw in paper flowers, small decorative objects, or anything else you'd like to dress up the box with. I always put the flower arrangement in the top corner of the box and I usually use a small vase or a small mason Jar.

Have fun creating this lovely gift for someone special in your life, and share your comments below!
