Warm-Weather Dinner Recipes to Help Us Eat Every Last Bit of Summer

Fall later, we're happy making dinner with super summer produce. Right now we're all about grilling and eating tomatoes. Make one of these recipes tonight and every night this week.

Some folks are all excited for pumpkin spice lattes; not us. Butternut squash and braising may be great, but not now, thank you. It's still peak summer in the kitchen, so here's our super-seasonal weekly list of dinner recipes and ideas. The recipes take less than an hour of mostly hands-off time, many cook much quicker than that but may require constant stirring or tending on the grill. Of course, there will be pasta, and, yes, it will be delicious. Visit us every week for dinnertime inspiration.

FRIDAY: Skirt Steak and Corn with Chimichurri

Just so you know, this entree can be made ahead -- then taken outdoor for picnicking. Or take 30 minutes, make it and then head out to eat. Skirt steak is one of our favorite cuts: It’s flavorful and reasonably priced. Cutting the corn into coins makes it more easy to eat outdoors (reminder, picnic potential!).
