Strawberry Daiquiri

  • 2 ounces (1/4 cup) freshly squeezed lime juice, plus 1 tablespoon lime zest, from 2 limes
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar, plus up to 2 additional tablespoons
  • 4 cups (16 ounces) fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 5 ounces (2/3 cup) white rum
  • 2 cups small ice cubes


  1. Combine lime zest and 2 tablespoons sugar in a food processor. Pulse until combined. Set aside.

  2. Place lime juice, strawberries, rum, 2 to 4 tablespoons sugar, depending on the sweetness of your strawberries, and ice cubes in a blender. Blend until smooth.

  3. Rub the rims of four glasses with a lime wedge, dip rims in lime sugar, and fill glasses with daiquiri.
