steps

  1. First we make the card. With the paper trimmer, cut a piece of paper that is 7" x 10". Using the mini scoring board, score the piece of paper at 5 inches on the 10-inch end. Fold at crease.

  2. Cut squares and strips out of the polkadot and solid cardstocks and adhere on your card. Make sure to leave space in between to show the 'white' of the card (the space is what creates the comic frames).

  3. Punch various stars from bright card stock and adhere to the polkadot squares.

  4. To make the speech bubble, use the jumbo circle punch.  Punch a white circle. Then re-punch the same circle -- removing a crescent -- to create the oval. Use the crescent for the point on the speech bubble.

  5. Use glitter glue to write "SUPER DAD" on your speech bubble.

  6. Use foam dots to attach the speech bubble to your card.
