- 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 1/2 teaspoons hot-pepper sauce (such as Tabasco), or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
Mash together all ingredients in a bowl with a flexible spatula until smooth. Maple butter can be stored in refrigerator up to 3 days; bring to room temperature before serving.
