DIY Pop-Up Cards for Valentine's Day

Pop-up cards are always fun for the recipient, and they are easier to make than they look. Just cut out a simple design, make a series of evenly spaced folds, and tape it to the card. For the best results, stick to a single cutout, and follow a few guidelines.

Use a solid-colored piece of card stock, and line the inside with patterned paper.

For clean, straight edges, cut the card with a craft knife and ruler on a cutting mat.

Secure the cutout at both ends with doublesided tape.

Use a bone folder to get a crisp crease on the folded elements.
