Armoire Shelf Separators

Oak cove molding, 3/8" by 3/8" by 4', homedepot.com

materials

  • Plywood, 1/2 inch thick

  • Fine sandpaper

  • Paint and paintbrush (optional)

  • Oak cove molding, 3/8 inch

  • Wood glue

  • Brads, 3/4 inch

steps

  1. Determine number and placement of separators.

  2. Cut plywood to height of space between shelves and depth of shelves. Lightly sand and paint, if desired; let dry.

  3. To create channels for separators to slide into, cut 4 lengths of molding for each separator.

  4. Place separators where desired. Mount molding on both sides of separator, as shown, and secure with wood glue and brads.
