materials

  • Apron

  • Oven mitt or potholder

steps

  1. Gather all materials.

  2. Take the snowflake stencil and adhere it to the apron using stencil tape. Be sure to mask off all areas around the artwork to prevent paint from getting onto other areas of the surface.

  3. Mix some fabric medium with the paint, and begin stenciling the snowflake in Camellia Pink. Remove stencil while wet and repeat, creating your own allover pattern on the apron. Repeat the same process with Spearmint Green. Use Sterling paint to intersperse dots all over the apron.

  4. Take the holly stencil and adhere it to the surface of the oven mitt or potholder using stencil tape. Be sure to mask off all areas around the artwork to prevent paint from getting onto other areas of the surface.

  5. Mix some fabric medium with the paint, and begin stenciling holly leaves in Spearmint Green.

  6. Next, mix some fabric medium with the paint, and begin stenciling the berries in Camellia Pink. Remove stencil while wet and repeat, creating your own allover pattern on the mitt.
