Emeril's Classic Manhattan

  • Yield: Makes 1 cocktail


  • 2 ounces rye whiskey
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angstura's Bitters
  • Brandied cherries, for garnish


  1. Combine whiskey, vermouth, and bitters in a shaker over large ice cubes and shake until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with three brandied cherries on a toothpick.
