Long after summer ends, you can still enjoy hydrangeas in dried form. First, remove most of the foliage on freshly cut flowers. Place the hydrangeas, with one or two inches of water, in a vase out of direct sunlight for a few days, until blossoms are dry (the color of the petals will fade) and the water has evaporated. Arrange a few in simple vases for a modern composition.
