- 1 cup flaky sea salt, such as Maldon
- 2 Tbsp freshly grated organic citrus zest, from well scrubbed grapefruits, oranges, lemons, or limes
Salt can be stored in an airtight container up to three months.
Heat oven to 200 degrees. In a bowl, mix salt and zest. Spread mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake until citrus is dry, about 1 hour. Let cool completely.
