Rough-Cut Breadsticks

  • yield: Makes 4 breadsticks


  • One 12-by-2-inch loaf of bread
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • Kosher salt


  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Slice the bread in quarters lengthwise. Place the 4 bread-sticks on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 5 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Drizzle oil over each breadstick and sprinkle with salt.
