Sweet Cherry Vinegar


This is delicious in a simple vinaigrette or marinade.

  • Yield: Makes 4 cups

  • 1 pound sweet cherries
  • 2 cups white-wine vinegar


  1. Combine cherries and vinegar in a glass jar. Refrigerate for 1 week, then strain.

Cook's Notes

Don’t toss the pickled cherries! Use them in salads, relishes, and chutney.
