Salsa Cruda

  • Yield: Makes about 3 cups


  • 4 large ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small bunch of cilantro, minced
  • Juice of 2 to 3 limes
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper


  1. Combine the tomatoes, onion, and cilantro in a bowl. Stir in the lime juice and season with salt and pepper. Serve with the burritos. This tastes best on the day it is made.
