Sardine-and-Pepper-Topped Cracker

Sardines are incredibly rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which may reduce triglyceride levels.

  • 1 oil-packed piquillo pepper (drained and thinly sliced into rings)
  • 1 oil-packed Spanish sardine (drained and halved, bones removed)
  • 1 whole-wheat Wasa cracker
  • A few baby arugula leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon juice


  1. Place pepper and sardine on cracker. Top with arugula. Drizzle with lemon juice.
