Blueberry-Green Tea Slushie
The blueberry has more antioxidant value than almost any other food, including broccoli and kale, so it's a potent protector against heart-, brain-, and age-related maladies.
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 3 green tea bags
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup
Bring 2 cups water to a boil. Add green tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags. Divide blueberries between the compartments of an ice cube tray. Cover with tea and freeze. Puree in a blender with remaining tea (1 1/2 cups), 1/2 cup water, and agave syrup. Serve garnished with berries.
