- 5 strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 6 fresh mint leaves, plus sprig for garnish
- 2 thin slices lime
- 1/2 teaspoon grated peeled fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup cracked ice
- 2 ounces vodka
Place strawberries, mint leaves, lime, and ginger in a cocktail shaker. Sprinkle with sugar. Muddle mixture until strawberries are almost pureed. Add ice and vodka. Shake well. Pour into a Collins glass and garnish with mint sprig.
