Alisa Toninato, Made in America

The American tradition of making things by hand predates the Pilgrims. Martha herself is a pioneer of the modern make-it-yourself movement, and the first Martha Stewart American Made Awards honored this legacy of craft by celebrating rising U.S. artisans, such as Wisconsin’s Alisa Toninato, who makes cast-iron skillets in the shape of the states.
